Just prior to the previos owner purchasing it 33y ago it was professionally recovered using genuine vox componentsin 'a service engineers guide to the vox ac30 valve amplifier' p54 it says ac30's from have a chassis number in the range whereas those from are in the rangethe vents were enlarged to improve ventilatuin at this timei purchased an age matched blue bulldog and replaced the celestion g12 to get a matching pairthis amp has been a treasured part of my life so the buyer will need to come to my house and go through everything with me before purchasingi have owned this amplifier for 15y and the previous owner had it for 18y - that's 33y of it's 55y life documentedi turn it on and play it from time to time t keep the parts exercised and check it is fully workingthe serial number for this chassis is just over but the under chassis view matches the ac30/6 power supply and output stage on p27 of above guidethe previous owner documents the back panel serial number plate as this was missing at the timewhen i purchased the amplifier it had one original blue bulldog and a celestion g12 replacement

Sonically the amp sounds great, has a mix of a fender and typical vox sound thanks to the 6v6 power valvesnothing major aside from thatreluctantly i am selling as i don't seem to have the time or space to justify keeping it so here i am presenting to youfeel free to ask questions, and give it a test drivehi everyone, listed is my much loved vox/tony bruno designed guitar ampthings to note: that currently the reverb does not function, not sure why but ive always used a reverb pedal and never bothered getting it checked out because the amp sounds great without it! hence i've lowered the price accordinglybruno also incorporated a unique mid boost and dark switch into the circuitry which makes the amp pretty versatile depending the on the guitar you useive tried being honest and open about the condition of the amp, some good resources available online about this amp and with bruno no longer producing amps of his own i suspect that this will one day be collectiblecollection from homerton or willing to post via courier at buyers expensepreamp valves have just been replaced/upgraded to jj's from stock which has made the amp a bit livelier and of course extended the life of the amp for years to comecosmetically it shows only light signs of usage from transport, some light scuffing and nicks in the corners of the tolexthe amp is also equipped stock with a celestion g12
