Beautiful looking stallion who does live up to his name! chief is a very loving, affectionate shetland pony who would make a perfect child’s pony with a bit of workregistered with the shetland pony society - begorra fire cracker aka (mischief or chief) born i bought him straight from the breeders when he was a few months oldonly a 5* home will do for this very cheeky chappyhe was purchased as a companion for my horse so hasn’t been broken to ride and has had very little halter training but he just loves people and fuss so i’m sure this wouldn’t be too much of a challengei would love for him to stay local if possible but the perfect home is more importanthe is very mischievous and doesn’t half make us all laugh with his antics - but he is a bit of an escape artist and needs proper fencing in place to contain dora the explorer!! this is a very sad sale but i have since purchased another horse and no longer need a companion and both of my horses require plenty of grass to keep weight on and although chief is fine at the moment once he gets a bit older i worry about the implications of him being overweight£800 ono for any more details please send me a messagehe lives out in all weathers

Skewbald, three year old, standard shetland pony type (not registered) geldinghe is a shetland type but not overweight and doesn’t get fati purchased tonto a few months ago to be a companion pony to my older horseit’s much easier having him in a smaller space, at least until he learns to trust youwhen i bought him i was told he’d not had a good start in lifehe is tricky to catch and needs to be kept in restricted turnout for this reasonhe’s happy to be left alone and doesn’t get attached to other horsesonce you’ve got him, he’s happy to be brushed and have a fussor to just be a companion and left alonehe’s just very nervous but with the stubbornness of a shetland! he’s passported, wormed and feet trimmedhe loves his treats and starts to relax if the handler is calm and steady around himyou can take others away and he doesn’t whinny or get sillyhe just needs a one to one, sympathetic handler to give him time and let him learn to trustsadly i just don’t have the time to give him what he needshe’s a lovely looking chap with gorgeous blue eyesi don’t want much for him, but he isn’t free as i don’t want him ending up in the wrong handshe comes over for food in a bucket and that’s how i catch himhe’s been stabled and is happy to be left in or go out on his own/with companybut then some days if a bird flies out of the hedge and spooks him then he’ll think you’ve hurt him and doesn’t want to knowmy older horse has since been sold and now this little chap is by himself and in need of a new homeif he went in a huge paddock you wouldn’t get near himhe is quiet and calm in the paddockthe not so good bits - although quiet, tonto is very nervous around peoplehe is very easily spooked and very good at scaring himself! he is not suitable for children or novicesthe good bits - tonto is a fantastic companion
