I have two very large breakfast cups of 4 7/8 inches diameter by 3this lovely portmeirion serving dish is in the 'compleat angler' series, number 2, and depicts the 'great lake trout'these six lovely portmeirion stoneware items are all in 'as new' condition, with glossy glaze, no chips, scratches or crazingi believe they are both early versions with no green-leaf trimthe salad plate shows thr red currant, and the side plate the l'imperatrice plumi have two 'pomona' plates, a salad plate of 8 5/8 inches and a side plate of 7 3/8 inches diameterthe dimensions are ins; (32i am asking ÂŁ10 for each of the cups, with the saucer thrown in with the birds of britain onebuyer collects or i could double-box pack and send either by royal mail or interparcel carrier for ÂŁ310 at current ratesthe 'compleat angler' series mug shows the sea trout and is also in new condition5 cm) long x 9 1/8 ins; (23 cm) widei am asking around half the new price, ÂŁ20 ovno for this superb example of the serving dish, and only ÂŁ75 ins d x 4 3/8 ins h, photos5 inches high, one is in the birds of britain series and the other is in the botanic garden series, showing i think, a great reed warbler and wild pansies respectivelythe first photo shows all but the 'great lake trout' oval dish, which is shown in the second to fourth photos50 for the side plateit looks like new, with no marks on it, please see the photosthe saucer (no backstamp) goes with the birds of britain cup, as the colour band matches the cup back stampit has probably been in a display cabinet all its lifeboth have been used as display plates, with the adhesive of wall hangers having to be washed off50 for the salad plate and ÂŁ6

Lovely retro vintage portmeirion meridian casserole dish designed by susan williams-ellisthese two businesses were combined and portmeirion potteries ltd was bornportmeirion pottery began in when pottery designer susan williams-ellis (daughter of sir clough williams-ellis, who created the italian-style portmeirion village in north wales) and her husband, euan cooper-willis, took over a small pottery-decorating company in stoke-on-trent called agray for some years, commissioning designs to sell at the gift shop in portmeirion village, the items bearing the backstamp "gray's pottery portmeirionware"made in englandsusan williams-ellis had been working with acollection onlydecorated with purple pink and orange on a white groundin , the couple purchased a second pottery company, kirkhams ltd, that had the capacity to manufacture pottery, and not only decorate itthe casserole dish is in excellent condition with just the minor firing imperfections it left the factory with and some minor crazing to the glaze to prove the age! please refer to the photos for further detail
