The good bits - tonto is a fantastic companionskewbald, three year old, standard shetland pony type (not registered) geldingthe not so good bits - although quiet, tonto is very nervous around peoplei purchased tonto a few months ago to be a companion pony to my older horsehe comes over for food in a bucket and that’s how i catch himsadly i just don’t have the time to give him what he needsor to just be a companion and left alonebut then some days if a bird flies out of the hedge and spooks him then he’ll think you’ve hurt him and doesn’t want to knowonce you’ve got him, he’s happy to be brushed and have a fusshe just needs a one to one, sympathetic handler to give him time and let him learn to trustwhen i bought him i was told he’d not had a good start in lifeif he went in a huge paddock you wouldn’t get near himhe’s a lovely looking chap with gorgeous blue eyeshe is quiet and calm in the paddockit’s much easier having him in a smaller space, at least until he learns to trust youhe’s just very nervous but with the stubbornness of a shetland! he’s passported, wormed and feet trimmedi don’t want much for him, but he isn’t free as i don’t want him ending up in the wrong handshe is tricky to catch and needs to be kept in restricted turnout for this reasonhe loves his treats and starts to relax if the handler is calm and steady around himhe’s been stabled and is happy to be left in or go out on his own/with companyyou can take others away and he doesn’t whinny or get sillyhe is a shetland type but not overweight and doesn’t get fatmy older horse has since been sold and now this little chap is by himself and in need of a new homehe is very easily spooked and very good at scaring himself! he is not suitable for children or noviceshe’s happy to be left alone and doesn’t get attached to other horses

She is great at handy pony and mounted gamesbad bits not good for children to bath as fidgets to much this is not her favorite thing i no she's greyi believe if you had older children to school her she would also make a first ridden but also capable for a second pony with a confident capable childshe has been groomed, plated and feet picked up by my daughtershe is barefoot, vaccination and teeth up to date both due aprilhas been to pc rallies and campsalso can be mareish supplement given works and also not great when left in field alone you can take her away no prob but not the other horse fine in a groupregular back checksdeposit taken sprinkles sadly for sale as now needing a first riddenridden alone and in groups hacks out beautifully on her own or leading from another horsestands all day with a net at showshundreds of videos and pics on requestshe is the perfect on the lead rein with all riders she taught my daughter the basics walk, trot canter and jumpinglead by my daughter can be cheeky when lots of grass
