It is with a heavy heart that i have to offer my boy up for sale, this decision has not been made lightly so please no time wasters, he is not a novice ride i’m looking for him to go to a hands on home where he will be loved and exercised nearly every day! in no way is basil a plod, he may be 19 but in no way does he act like it, he is a hands on horse who is bursting with energy and would go galloping for miles, i have taken him on mile long fun rides and he would happily go around another 5 times if he could! he is not one hundred percent in traffic, mainly larger vehicles are where we’ve had issues, but the more he goes out the better he gets, he will go out alone with a confident rider ideally away from traffic but does prefer hacking in companythis horse puts so much effort into everything he does and is very willing to please! he is up to date with jabs and wormer! read morehe has an amazing jump on him and jumping is something he really enjoys and definitely has talent in! he is a dream to shoe, can get a bit ticklish when being clipped but is overall a good boy! he will load with a bit of patience and time again the more he does this the better he is at it he has been out of work for a month or so now so will need bringing back into work but this doesn’t take long with him as he’s keen to get going
