Concerto was with a minimilistic set but much variation in dance formations as an introduction in part 1 of the performance.
Enigma Variations had theatrical style autumnal trees surrounding the set with period doorways and details from the late 19th Century as the main scenery.
The costumes were late 19th Century and featured several bycyles of the period being ridden on the stage.
All very effective.
Raymonda Act III had byzantine style sets with heavy architectural features and interesting medieval banners and the costumes were lavish and Hungarian in style.
Much flamoyant dancing, including a pas de trois and pas de quatre.
The orchestral playing by the Royal Opera House orchestra was excellent, conducted by Pavel Sorokin along with the dancing, including Bennet Gartside at Edward Elgar in Enigma Variations, Vadim Muntagirov as Jean de Brienne and Sarah Lamb in Raymonda Act III.
