A ww2 zuckerman helmet with linerthe zuckerman helmet, officially designated as the civilian protective helmet, was a british helmet designed for use by civil defence organisations & the general public during world war iiit was researched & designed by solly zuckerman, derman christopherson & hugh cairnsmarked size 7 jrs on its leather head banda small part of the rim had rusted awayplease study the images, as they also form part of the description & please do your own researchi believe it's called zuckerman helmet, but please do your own researchthe rust & corrosion has a nice yellowish colour to it, especially when the light hits itplease feel free to make an offerpostage includes being signed forit would make a great lamp if you mounted either a filiment bulb on the top, or inside if you could find an appropriate bracketthe base is approx " at its longest dimensionsin expected used & poor condition for an item of this age & naturecan post at extra costthe outer & outer rim has been waxed & polished, so it's actually quite smooth & tactilebehind the lining is still rusty, but some original colour is still present

Nice ww2 german helmet has letters et62 stamped inside and numbers the internal dome stamp is still very slightly visible but can no longer be read some rust and wear to it but i guess its getting on for 80 years old i fitted a new reproduction black leather chin strap as this was missing when i got the helmet will take cash on collection or paypal if you want it posting posting will be £5
