ww1 mills grenade relic, this has some interesting history about it as it was actually a reject from the factory because of a manufacturing / molding defect, the hole at the bottom where the base plug should go did not mold as it should (see photos) so it never went any further in the factory as the hole for the pin has not been drilled etherwhy it was and had been kept i do not know but a guess i would say possibly one of the factory workers took it home with them as a souveniri cant see or find any markings on it, read more
