This lovely old mahogany drop leaf side table was made by the famous furniture makers waring and gillow ltd in their lancaster factory and belonged to my late motherit can be seen in haslemere, surreythe dimensions are 74cm height, 76cm wide (extended), 43cm wide (closed) and 36cm deepthere are one or two old age related marks but it has been carefully kept polished over the years

At the time my grandfather bought a number of pieces of claw footed furniture which were all purchased and stamped with the name of waring and gillowit has 3 drawers in the main body of the desk and a drop leaf writing tablewe are based in lewes, east sussexmy father remembers growing up with it and he was born in , hence my assumption of the sgood quality claw footed hardwood writing desk/bureau which i believe dates from the sthe overall dimensions are: 82cm x 47cm x 100cmcash on collection pleasethe writing desk sits on queen anne style legs with ball and claw feetit is a nice small convenient petite sizethe interior is fitted with drawers and pigeon holes and has a leather writing scribedue to size and weight his item it is being offered on a collection in person basisthe desk section alone measures 76cm wide x 45cm deepthis belonged to my grandfather and i believe it dates from the sthis includes the ball and claw feet which project slightly further out than the main part of the deskthis desk does not have that mark, but would have been of the same quality as the other itemsplease contact us if you have any questions regarding the desk/bureau
