He will eat fresh, frozen or freeze dried blood worm, prawns, shrimp, earthworms, etcit is recommended that sand or large rocks is used as a substrate or nothing, as they will eat anything on the bottom whilst looking for food & this can get impacted & be fatal*reserved pending collection* african clawed frog - adult male these little guys make great pets, even for beginners, they will however eat anything that fits in their mouths, including smaller frogs, fish, snails, shrimp, gravel! so they are recommended for either species only tank or kept with much larger fishhe has benefited from a small filter, but he’s not a messy petan ideal tank is about 12” deep to allow them easy access to the surfacei have chosen not to use substrate for himhe can live inside a warm room without a heater, but also would happily to live in a heated tank once acclimatisedhe makes a wonderful trilling noise a lot of the time from under the waterthey can be hand fed once they know you & it’s believed they learn to recognise faces of ownershe comes to the surface to breath air every few minutes so any tank needs to have a gap between the surface & lid to allow for thisthey can’t hear as they have no ears, so work on vibrationsit is not recommended to use an air pump as it can saturate the water with too much oxygen for these frogs, so he is best without onethis is definitely a male as he has the classic black palms on the front feet, as per his pictures, he is also slightly smaller than the femalesregular water changes would also work if the chlorine is removed from the tap waterhe has been kept here with larger fish with no issues at allthey do not need access to any “land”, in fact they can only actually survive 20 mins maximum out of watersome people sit a suction soap dish just below the surface to make them a shelf / bed which they seem to enjoyone frog would be perfectly content in a 24” x 12” x 12”

Never bitten, and when she is happy is an absolute pig and will eat absolutely whenever it is offered and has been known to even eat while in shed but as i said, only if the conditions are bang onwhen coming to collect i will ask some basic care questions (as i think every seller should) on the species to make sure you know how to look after the animal and will care for her as best as you cancurrently taking large mediums and large mice every week with every 4 feeds or so being an xl mousecurrently weighing in at 239 grams, this big girl is looking for a new home ideally in a breeders conditions as those are what she seems to do best ini cannot remember the exact date of birth but she was born at the start of from a trusted and experienced friend, i am fairly experienced myself too but i specialise more in inverts and panther chameleonsquestions more than welcome and pick up only:) thank you so much for looking read moreas said above, she can be sometimes picky and has typical sassy hognose attitude in general and so probably wouldn't be best for first time or beginner keepersanaconda 50% het albino, she has been known to refuse food before if she doesn't like her environment and likes smaller, darker tubs instead of big vivariums like she was originally put in
