Pretty bird feeder
Initially quite excited to receive this feeder in the post. Easy to fill, keeps seeds etc clean and dry. My pet robin, that feeds from a tray at ground level, tried it once but could not get in and refuses to try it again. Other birds also reluctant to try it. Not sure why, could be its proximity to our house. Pigeons and crows cannot get in and that suits me. Will try an adaptation to make it easier for little birds by weaving a straw perch though the holes so they they can get some purchase on the plastic surface before entering the holes. It’s a well made feeder,looks good, but in our garden no birds went on it that we know of. The seed got very wet when raining and did not dry out.

Good all round seed feeder
Easy to fill feeder and easy to place on a branch. Only one negative, the holes are big enough for a squirrels head !!! Was great fun watching mummy squirrel hanging from the feeder with her head inside. Little birds took a while to work out how to get onto it but using it OK now.

Design appeals to Humans but not Birds
Easy clean . Sleek design . Looks good . However birds do not appear to appreciate these aspects . Leastways , despite being located adjacent to nut feeder, and well filled with the equivalent of ' Waitrose ' quality bird seed , we haven't seen a single bird tempted to feed from it .

Not just for small birds.
Although I like this feeder and the quality is good, I had hoped that just the little birds (tits and finches) would use it. However, the starlings have managed to work out how to get their heads in and eat all the mealworms/seeds. Still it's a good shape and looks good on the feeder hooks.
