The quality of the image recording and play back is far superior than my old defunct video tape camera.The camera ticks all the write boxes.The only niggle I have with it,is that, the time and date display, only shows on initial start up.Then it disappears for the rest of the recording session.When you come to playback,it is meant to show but again it shows initially on the start and disappears and is not constantly on ( as I like it).I have tryed to master the date/time being on constantly,but,I have not been able to do so.Either in playback or record mode.I have tryed and tryed via the instruction book.To no avail.Even my techically literate kids have not been able to do so.Besides this ,it is a pleasing camera and much better than tape recording.I do not regret the purchase.Just the date/time function niggles me.Perhaps it is the operator not the camera.Anyhow that is my experience of it .Go ahead.Cheap as chips for what it offers.Hope this is of help.Regards Sid.Read full review
This is the second one I have bought. Its sturdy, easy to use and gives good picture quality. If I have a complaint its with the sound. There is no way of filtering out unwanted noise eg a high wind.
A very easy to use camcoder and does what it says it will do. I consider this excellent Value for Money.
