This 16 track CD is the second album on Lyttelton's own Caligraph label,to feature himself along with Acker Bilk. Recorded in September 1993 and April 1994 it was intended to include Bruce Turner on clarinet and alto but Bruce was taken ill just prior to the September 1993 session and sadly passed away in November. He was replaced by John Barnes. The album is dedicated to Bruce Turner and is a fitting tribute to "The Dirty Bopper". The choice of tunes is varied and excellent, resulting in a fine album of gently swinging jazz which I will undoubtedly play frequently for many years to come.
