What I like about this headphones is the price that I got to purchase this. Not knowing that Sony headphones that are sold in China are probably fakes, bought this at ebay. Sony headphones are usually made in the Philippines. The headphones looked like the real model except for some parts that are painted differently, number of screws do not match from the original model, overall appearance are not as classy or perfectly made, sound quality is good but I could not differentiate it from the real one. This is a good dj headphones if you got the original. They are a bit heavy and would not recommend if you are going to use this around town because it wouldn't feel comfortable to the ears after a while. This is intended for djs as indicated on the box. The main features are very flexible for dj use where the cups can be rotated to 90 degrees and swing outward. It also comes with a white smooth case. I would recommend this model for djs and studio technicians. Btw, beware of fakes from China!Read full review
The good parts of these headphones are that the sound is great even though some sa y the bass is too high. I used these for djing and they look great and fit well. The bad part is that within a month of purchasing these, the cable connection became loose and I could no longer hear from the left headphone. There have also been reports of the hinges breaking because they are plastic. For the price I got it I am happy.
I love that the seller was offering a buy one get one free. Two $125 headsets for 50 bucks. You can't beat that. I checked around on a lot of music equipment sites and found this set to be the most durable and highly rated in all the reviews I read. These seem to be THE dj headset being used right now. The rotation of the cups is excellent. The earcups spring right back. As with all headsets that are meant to block out external noise, after a while the pressure can make the outside of your ears a little sore. (You can get used to this if you use a headset for long periods...) Guess I'll keep the extra set in the box and use it as a backup if the other one gives way.
