For the price you can't get better. I bought it as a back up for my kindle, My plan was to use it when out and about, leaving the kindle at my bedside. I'd lost a previous kindle by leaving it in a bar somewhere and didn't want to lose another. Once I began using it tho I never picked up the kindle unless I'd completed a book and starting a new one. It great, adjustable fonts, its pocket sized, light weight, long battery life.

had another e reader from a different maker but wanted a better one so i went for the best sony , after all they invented them ( i think)it has loads of formats it can read from and the screen is so detailed i dont know how they get it so good. Battery life is amazing and they qaulity of the build is amazing, uses a micro usb so i already had a lead and a charger ( from my mobile phone)which is a bonus, it doesnt have a card slot but you dont need one with 2gb of built in storage you can get loads ( about 800 - 1000) books in this amount of space, bit more expensive than the other makes , kobo and kindle etc but the build qaulity is better and the speed looks a bit faster than them ( wife has a kobo). all in all a great unit ,especially if you get a great second hand bargain like i did.
Very well made compared to the kindles with an aluminium chassis. Easy enough to manage content via Calibre. Looses a star as it doesn’t have a screen light and depending on your eyes you might prefer a slightly higher resolution

Sony e-readers have been my favourites for a few years already. This particular model is compact and truly portable. Its original Sony cover with light provides the best lighting conditions for an e-book for me. With its a dozen of built-in dictionaries it is superb for a person reading a few of the most popular languages! 5 star all around!
