Fantastic iPad
Was worried about ordering an iPad from Ebay to replace my old one. Shouldn’t have been. Product arrived quickly was well packed and in superb condition. I’m fairly tech shy and was pleased that it was ready to go and very easy to set up and connect. I got all my items transferred across from my old iPad mini (that someone else set up for me) in a matter of minutes. It’s so much faster than my old mini. I use it mainly for website and apps. My photos and music are stored in the cloud so the fact that this is 16gb rather than the 32gb I’ve been used to does not seem to be an issue. It’s early days but I’ve added all of my apps that were on my old device and it’s brilliantly quick and responsive. It charges via a lightning cable, which is great because I don’t have to have separate chargers for my phone and iPad. It also has Siri which my old iPad didn’t. It’s taken a bit of getting used to but I am now loving the ‘hands free’ navigation. Having used it for a couple of days now I am really glad I went for the iPad, rather than a replacement iPad mini. The larger screen is great ( particularly at the end of the day with tired eyes or when trying to share a view or see lots of detail). It’s slimline design means that it slips easily into a medium sized handbag or small briefcase. This version is WiFi only, which suits me as that’s mainly how I use it. On the rare occasion that I do need it when out and about I can just use my phone as a WiFi hotspot. I considered other tablets, particularly a Microsoft Surface but because I use an iMac at home I decided on the iPad as they just work together intuitively and brilliantly - a huge plus point for technophobes like me! Really happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend the iPad 4th Generation 16gb as a good value light / medium use tablet.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Buy an Android tablet instead
The Ipad4 cannot use any of the latest Apps as they are 64 bit.The Ipad, whatever model goes out of date for the new apps. I would recommend buying Android instead. Saved some money.
Needed an iPad for work, but didn't want to spend too much money on one, so went for the 4th Gen. It works much better than any Android tablet I have used from the same year. The display is beautiful, and it's fast enough for what I need it for (document reading, typing and some media consumption). It is a little heavier than the newer ones, but having saved over £80 on a store bought version of this particular model, and well over £130 on the Air in the same condition, I will happily accept the slight weightiness to it. It heats up a little, but always cools down quickly. The sound quality is good as well. It's great for everyday media consumption, and with a good quality pair of headphones (not apple ones.. I mean real headphones), you can real enjoy your music or shows. The 4th Gen model is not supported on os11, but again, this is not an issue for what I need it for. To sum up. If you are looking for a great tablet for everyday use, and don't mind the few downfalls it has, such as weight, speed (compared to the Air, Air 2 etc..) camera (it's not bad.. just not outstanding), lack of apple pencil compatibility, and OS11 not being supported, then this is a great buy for £100-130. The few downfalls I mention really are small. It also doesn't have Touch ID.. but that really isn't an issue for me, and I doubt it will be for you as the screen unlocks quickly anyway.

My 8 year old really wanted an ipad for Christmas and I couldn't afford a brand new one. I didn't want to disappoint him so thought I would take a chance on a 2nd hand one and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. It looked brand new and I gave it my son early as I was so excited. Bargain ipad bought for £45
This ipad is great. 10 hours battery life once charged. Easy to navigate and use as never owned a ipad before and I'm over 50. Can do most things on it. If you want new apps downloaded. It won't let you as it's to old a model. But nothing stopping you from going on there websites. It's a big screen. And this ipad is fairly heavy while using it. It's very light and with good features
I had this iPad 4 for two weeks now and I find I can do much more with this IPad 4 there are a lot of very helpful qualities about it. It's very quick to find what you want. It has a lot of good features. Before you open your iPad it gives you a lot of helpful hints I can type better when in in pages. I also use it a lot for shopping on line etc. I charge the iPad overnight it shows 100% but I feel it goes quickly although that's not a big problem. It's also very light. Although the product is a used iPad and has general minor daily usage marks and scratches, the sim tray/slot does not eject however perfectly ideal to use at home and is a excellent iPad to use in 2020. My family took many years to convince me that an iPad would give me hours of enjoyment. I was perfectly happy with my iPhone, and this I only bought this year, again with pressure from family and friends to change from my old mobile which I believe ran on diesel it was so OLD. However I have now bought both on e-bay, and of they are in continually use. I have had to return the iPhone, because of poor telephone clarity, but I am currently awaiting a new one from my e-bay supplier.
