I bought the camera to use on holiday. I normally use Nikon 500 SLRs but I wanted something small and light to carry. I didn't expect much from the camera due to its size and price but the results surprised me. it certainly isn't a match for an slr but the image quality was far better than I expected. The night mode made taking photos without a tripod in poorly lit streets easy and the results were excellent. The panorama mode i thought was going to be nothing more than a gimmick but the results were stunning for the most part, only 2 taken indoors in a museum were ruined by noise. Great price and the Leica lens more than makes up for any issues that the processor may have. Great price and for a camera the size of a cigarette packet it produces great quality photographs even when printed at 18 by 12 inches.Read full review

Fast start up. Easy to use with one hand. Lots of settings which can be manipulated to get the perfect shot. Long zoom. Touch screen. Charges via USB so no need for a separate charger. Compact size. Good quality pictures and video. GPS location marker - although I don't actually use this.

I bought this for my grandson as I have the same camera. It is easy to use and takes great photos and is ideal for a young person. This is my 6th lumix camera and as always it gives brilliant image quality and fabulous zoom capabilities. This one is my favourite so far, having GPS and WiFi makes it so easy to upload your images to the web.

Considering the price I paid second hand it is an incredible camera with more features than I will ever use. As a keen photographer I naturally look for image quality and this camera cannot be faulted. It is certainly the equal of my SLR. I am impressed.
