I didn't want a fancy phone full of gimmicks I would never learn how to use - nor need. For me the G4 Play achieves that. I can surf the net when i need to, I can get my emails and, I can even use it as a phone! It does all these things very well. The predictive text is a joy to use and the GPS maps very useful if you get lost. I've never run the battery flat but I think that if you run the phone with GPS turned off and use the other features modestly it could perhaps last for a full week. I charge it every three or fours days when the charge falls to about 60%. It is a 5" phone, bigger than I'm used to. I do find it quite big to handle, but love the big screen, I guess I'll get used to it. I like this phone, and have just bought a second one fora member of my family. Good budget 4G mobile phone . The phone was quite easy to set up with few problems encountered . This phone has a good screen for the price but seems to take ages to receive a full charge on the battery . Also this 2014 phone was quite easy to upgrade to a later version of Android 7.1 . The phone has a relatively small memory 16GB but will accept an external SIM which I find useful for storing photos etc .
