Reasonably easy to build, not sure about the charcoal holder at the bottom it’s a little small, wire racking could be more stable. Otherwise decent enough for a small family bbq

Coal tray nowhere near big enough so can’t generate enough heat.. the heat and smoke you do generate pours out of it through the joins and underneath... 6 hours and it didn’t even begin to cook a brisket!.. ended up taking the top layer off and using the water tray for coals to use as a normal barbecue.. But be careful the grills only hook on small hooks and tend to fall off with meat on them.. could have brought one of those for a third of the price if that’s what I wanted.

the bottom hooks does not hold the grid. between the layers is a big gap. there is nothing to keep the layers together so if you want to move the smoker you have to do it layer per layer or grab the bottom one and pull the whole thing. it is look a cheap not too good product but is ok for this price.

Had trouble getting a stable temp from the start! The charcoal pan isn’t big enough and not enough air flow. Modified the water pan by adding a few vent holes and fitted a wire grate, then used this instead. Made a new water bowl to replace it,now burns ok. Temp gauge reads 15c lower Than top level grill

It’s ok but has a flaw in the grill rack doesn’t fit on bottom Means you need to put pan under which cuts down heat
