Comfortable pen to hold and use. A great help for those of us with issues such as Raynaulds, when a screen cannot respond to the touch of fingertips. The tip of the pen is sensitive and the material sufficiently durable but soft not to damage my iPad screen (other pens have had issues). I just wish the pen had been more versatile and been able to be used on my iPhone as well! The only negative aspect would be the recharging. Although the fast charging point is very convenient, to actually have the pen protruding from the side of the tablet is not the best or safest solution. I suspect this has been addressed in the updated Generation 2 version (which also has the magnetic attachment to the tablet). However, just be aware of this when using a First Generation pen/pencil.

The Apple Pencil is a novelty, but it really doesn’t have many practical applications. The one I purchased was for my sister. I already had one. It wouldn’t pair, apparently a common fault. Well made, but terribly over priced for what it is, but then so is many Apple products.

This pen is beyond all others as far as I have seen. I use an older iPad Pro (2016) model and stylus compatibility is rare. It’s not compatible with good non Apple pencils eg adonit note or the Logitech crayon, so I’m left with the other cheaper styluses and Apple Pencil. I’m a student and I need good consistent performance from a stylus as I write loaaads. Apple Pencil doesn’t go wrong. I would recommend looking for a second hand Apple Pencil over alternatives. I got mine for half price and it works like brand new.

This Apple Pencil/Pen is the best I have used with an iPad. I have had a few over the years, from blunt drag type to other battery Bluetooth units. It’s exceptionally easy to pair. I use the adapter and standard lightening cable to charge it. It does charge from the iPad but looks too precarious. I’m made up with the price I paid, the item was as described new unused in original packaging.

Beautifully made, easy to charge and pair and works as specified. Newer models have more features but only this original pencil is compatible with model of iPad (9th Gen). It appears to be quite expensive for what it is.

The Apple Pencil will really enhance your iPad. In my opinion it is a must have, along with the Smart Keyboard, and if you want be to be completely wireless (except for charging of course), you should get AirPods too. The Pencil holds 12 hours of charge, I never went through it all in a day even though I am using the iPad both for work and entertainment at home and on the way home/to work. With the iPad Pro it is amazing at handwriting and drawing and that’s thanks to the 120 Hertz refresh rate, virtually no lag. With the budget model iPad 7 it’s a bit different, since it doesn’t have that refresh rate you can feel a bit of choppiness (checked in an Apple Store). Overall, a very good addition to your daily iPadding, just make sure to get a case for it or a magnetic sleeve so you can always have it with you attached to your iPad.Read full review

Great pencil. Daughter loves the amount of control it gives compared to other stylus on the market. Great condition and great eBay experience. Would recommend.

I found a “good as new” used Apple Pencil for £60, still very expensive, but better than paying full price. As usual from Apple, it’s a well designed product made from top quality materials. I also tried a cheaper generic pen and found it was too difficult to avoid my hand interfering with its operation. On my iPad, the Apple Pencil palm rejection works perfectly.

The Apple Pencil is a great little device, when paired with an iPad Pro and a note-taking app like GoodNotes and with some drawing and sketching apps. It’s also really handy to be able to double-tap on my home-screen and start writing or sketching a quick note, without having to spend time navigating through to my notebook app and the relevant page. I wouldn’t be able to justify to myself paying £99 for the Pencil, but I’m certainly happy with the one I bought for about 1/2 of that price.

I already had an Apple Pencil but lost it. So I was looking for a replacement and already had the other parts. But I didn’t really use the other parts as I just charge my Pencil using the ipad. It’s a great product which helps me take my digital art from the PC and just draw wherever I need to be :) The Apple Pencil came really quick. So I’m even happier with that. I’ll attach images of works that can be produced.
