THE GH4 WAS AN AMAZING CAMERA AND NOW HAVING THE NEW GH5 KNOCKS THE GH4 OUT THE WATER AND THAT WAS A FANTASTIC 4K CAMERA.TRIED THIS OUT OVER THE WEEKEND AT A FESTIVAL WE WERE HIRED TO VIDEO AND ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC QUALITY GREAT IN LOW LIGHT CONDITIONS WITH ISO SET TO MAX 1000 VERY CLEAN FOOTAGE AUTO FOCUS WORKS MUCH BETTER THAN ON THE GH4 WHICH IS A NICE IMPROVEMENT.THE STABILIZATION IS ALSO SUPERB REALLY NICE TO HAVE THIS WITHOUT HAVING TO SET UP THE GIMBLE WHICH WAS A MUST WITH THE OLDER GH4 NO SAYING THAT YOU STILL WOULDNT WANT A GIMBLE TO IRON OUT ANY BUMPS BUT FOR RUN AND GUN SOLUTION THIS WORKS A TREAT IF YOU WANT TO GO LIGHT AND IS WHY WE CHOSE THIS OVER THE GH5S VERSION AS THE STABILIZATION HAS BEEN REMOVED SO YOU MUST BE TRIPOD MOUNTED OR ON A GIMBLE WITH THAT VERSION BUT I THINK THE VIDEO OPERATIONS ARE BETTER ON THE GH5S AND BETTER QUALITY WE REALLY WANTED THIS AS A 2ND STILLS CAMERA AND AS A 4K VIDEO CAMERA SO HIGHER PIXELS WAS HANDY FOR THE STILLS SIDE AND THE VIDEO IS GREAT TOO NOT A COMPROMISE AS FAR AS IM CONCERNED.GREAT JOB PANASONIC WITH THIS ALL THE COMPLAINTS I HAD WITH THE GH4 HAVE DEFO BEEN PUT STRAIGHT IN THIS BABY DONT BE SHY TREAT YOURSELF ITS LATER THAN YOU THINKRead full review

It's a staple prosumer video camera for a reason. You have to be wary of what editing software you use and perhaps invest in a recorder for long term savings on SD cards for file space but if you know what you want. I don't have to tell you this is awesome.
