I did not want to replace my 25 year old Hi-Fi and quality speakers with an inferior system just to be able to feed it by Bluetooth with MP3 or WMA source files so I bought this item as a trial. Works like a dream. It paired with my smartphone tablet and laptop with no problems. It comes with a 3,5mm audio cable and a USB power cable. Note that it does not have an internal battery so requires a USB power output source when it is operating. This is no problem in a static situation with my Hi-Fi, but if you want a Bluetooth receiver to use with headphones you need to choose a unit that can be charged. The good thing for a static situation to Hi-Fi systems is that it has stereo RCA sockets as well as the 3.5mm stereo socket for connection.

I bought this to bring my 1980's Hi-Fi into the 21st century. Successfully paired with an Android phone to stream music to the Aux input using RCA Phono lead which is neater than 3.5 mm Audio Jacks. HOWEVER, despite the description, the unit powers off as soon as the USB power supply is disconnected, so I can only assume that there is NO INTERNAL BATTERY. And yes, I had "charged" it for several hours first. This is not a deal-breaker for me as I am using it in the home, but no good if you were hoping for portability. The USB plug was also extremely difficult to insert in the socket for some reason, so I will be leaving it in place.

Good way to make any hifi wireless without having to totally start from scratch and buy a whole new sound system. The cheap price doesn’t reflect the build and sound quality. One feature the ugreen has over other similar models is that it turns itself off when not being used which saves energy and also doesn’t interfere with other Bluetooth devices, a problem I have had in the past where the only option was to turn off at the wall when not in use. All in all well worth the money and then some, it has breathed new life into my old stereo.

Strangely a 2011 Mercedes C Class doesn't support A2DP Bluetooth protocol. Can only use the MB Bluetooth for phone calls. This product solved that issue and cancels the 3.5 to 3.5 AUX cable connection. Only downside (no big deal) is unable to change tracks via stearing wheel controls.

Having tried my luck with many other cheap Chinese Bluetooth receivers over the years I was yet to find one that i would recommend, until now. This little device comes nicely packaged and feels quality in the hand on first impressions. The unit powers up as soon as power is fed unlike others that have to be manually turned on, and when power is dropped temporarily (ie starting the engine of a car) the unit powers straight back up and connects within a second. No messing around with reconnecting and waiting to pair like with other cheaper receivers. Audio quality is good, clean punchy sound with good bass reproduction, I was impressed with the absence of static noise at idle or even at max volume with nothing playing. No distortion to be reported. The RCA's on the back will certainly come in handy when connecting to larger speakers but overall I would say that I am one very happy customer. Brilliant product at an amazing price. Well done uGreen!Read full review
