This is an extremely nice router. It supports dual WAN and will combine adsl and 4G signals for you, allowing remote access via static ip and high download speeds via 4G. Interface is nice and easy, port forwarding set up in seconds and it supports load balance. It has more features than you will ever need and then some more. Highly recommended for users with dual WAN connections and businesses.

A replacement sent quickly but doesn't even pass self test on power-up and doesn't work at all! Not a word from these people after I reported this last dud replacement to them on Aug 8th.

Have used Draytek routers for over 20 years and found them very solid and reliable. They have good functionality built in as standard - e.g. multiple incoming VPN connections ideal for a small business in a situation with staff who have to Work from Home. The firewall performance is excellent - important where cable suppliers like Virgin regularly upgrade their customer's broadband speeds. The 2860 series will handle up to 300 Mb/s and others will go to 400. WiFi options are good as well and very configurable, so for example you can allow a separate SSID for Guests to allow internet access without permitting access to machines on the local LAN. All-in-all excellent kit, which is why I stay with the brand.

This is over-kill for my home network but the number of options in th eset up of the Router is mind-boggling. There is a long list of options to the left, each option has a list of options and these additional options have pages, with sub pages, all with amazing features. You will necer need another router. It will replace any router you are using now, including the SKY router (you have to extract from the SKY router your secret internal password but a quick Google will tell you how. There is also many webages showing how to configure for SKY). My Brother works in computer networking department for the pharmaceutical company Roche and he looked at my Router and was knocked out by it, he said he had never seen such a powerful router in a home. He said this is the kind of router a company or large business would use, that it is a corporate Router with extremely powerful security features, built in network firewall and that it can handle multiple SSIDs and have a different configuration for each of them. I am seriously impressed with this router. After I had it set up, took me an afternoon after a lot of Google browsing because the settings are HUGE, I was saying to myself happily, "I knew I was right to take the gamble and buy this router."
