    BT home broadband extender kit.

Received within two days of order, well packaged. Easily set up using Ethernet cables and home electrical circuit.Ive Only used one of the extender units and linked it into pre existing extender's also under the BT label but of a different design Connection was set up within two minutes using the easy to follow instructions . I've connected a desktop computer in a bedroom to the router which is downstairs , the internet download speed is significantly faster than the WiFi connection speed I was achieving. Test speed to router 45mbs to computer via WiFi 18mbs ,using Ethernet 44.5 mbs , Occasionally there's a slight lag while my computer picks up the ethernet connection. Probably my computer rather than the TP link In all good value for money .

  • Most critical review

They are unreliable and do not maintain communication

They do not maintain communication and have to be reset every time I use them. I am now getting a BT engineer out to my property as the fault is either in the extender or in the new router we have just installed.

  • Works great

Purchased this to connect my CCTV system to the internet with needing a 2 mile long Ethernet cable. First this I noticed when opening the box it says it has to be plugged into a wall, not an extension socket. At this point I thought oh great now I'm stuck as both my wire router and cctv were off extensions. Anyway long story short I thought I'd try it anyway and it works perfect. No issues. Also you get two Ethernet leads with it to connect to your device and router. Great buy very happy and gives excellent quality streaming of my HD CCTV system.

  • Easier than anticipated

Got this product due to my Sony TV's wifi kept dropping (common problem!) At first I plugged into my extension cords so they didn't work but soon as they was plugged into the wall viola! It was literally just that simple. Steps (For me, for you just a bit different based on what you're connecting) 1. Plug into wall downstairs near router/modem and connect ethernet to router/modem. 2. Go upstairs to my TV connect the other adapter into wall and connect ethernet to TV. 3. Done. Up to now I watched about 5 - 6 hours of Netflix and the picture is full HD no distortion, this device is absolutely more than capable of streaming full HD of any kind. FAQ: Q: Is it worth it? A: Absolutely. Q: What's in the box? A: 2 Broadband extenders, 2 Ethernet cables and a guide

  • Broardband Extender

The instructions are very easy to follow. They worked straight away, no problems at all. The operating speed is also very impressive, much quicker than my previous wireless connection. I have only been using this device for a few days and so far its not loss connection. My only concern is the limited twelve month guarantee. Just hope they keep working well beyond that.

  • BTBroadband Extender Flex 600

When they arrived I was really surprised that they were in such good condition considering they were preowned (could find no signs of previous use). It was discounted to £24.99 and in addition eBay were offering a £5 discount so I only paid £19.99. The box they came in was complete with all the necessary parts so I was able to start setting them up right away. My main problem was finding a spare wall socket (not on an extension lead) at the router end. My answer was to plug the extender into the nearest socket (about 10 feet away) and use a longer Ethernet cable which fortunately I already had. I was then able to set up the units very easily and quickly and they are now working really well. Additional units can be added in different rooms to extend the system to have the internet almost everywhere. I find them great and would recommend the to anyone who is having wireless problems

  • Solid devicde -setup is a bit different to instructions - but good value if you are creative!

Good device, but the setup instructions "could do better". I guess they try to keep them simple, but in reality firmware updates etc mean you need to be creaive a bit in setting these guys up. However when you do they are good giving a consistent performance -especially useful for products like Smart TVs, as long as they have a hard wired Ethernet connection. If not turn an old router into a Wi-Fi access point by disabling DCHP

  • Great product

Fast internet throughout the house without those ugly cables. Relatively easy set up, just make sure you try more than one socket so you can see witch has the best speeds.

  • BT Broadband Extender

I have bought BT Broadband Extender 600 Kit several years ago and still using them. I believe it is faster and safer than wireless transmission. I just bought these others so, I can use my other computers in different rooms. Certainly I recommend them using Ethernet cable makes the home a safer place than using (wi-fi) wireless.

  • No hassle internet connection - at last!

These extenders are so easy to set up and use. I've finally got high-speed internet at a distance from my router. Absolute great value for money.
