An excellent product a true Puzzle Mate. It opens out to provide a very good non slip mat to build your jigsaw on and two side mats, plus two loose mats that allow you to place out separate pieces (ie. sky pieces etc) before building them into your jigsaw. If you have to pack your jigsaw away, it folds together and keeps all the pieces in place for easy stowage behind a sofa or under a bed. It is the perfect size for 1000 piece jigsaws. Since a child I have loved doing jigsaws and wouldn't be without one.

I haven't done a jigsaw for years since completing a Beatles jigsaw and finding a piece was missing! My daughter bought me a Beatles jigsaw to re kindle my past so l bought this mat case to help keep it all together. After opening this very thoughtful present from my daughter began putting all the pieces onto the mat I folded it as described and put it beside my chair. After a few days l noticed one then two jigsaw pieces had fallen out around the folded mat! Having vacuumed in the meantime l have no idea at present if l have a complete jigsaw or not and so l am not very happy about it as you can imagine.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Well designed and sturdy
It’s just what I needed to be able to take a part-done jigsaw puzzle off the table and store it till I next want to get it out. The two smaller boards pack it well when it is closed so the puzzle and pieces stay in place. This is a really good board because not only do you get the main board where you do your jigsaw, but also two smaller pieces which can hold parts of your jigsaw. Best solution to large jig saw puzzles I have found.
This product is great for a 1000 piece jig saw puzzle. The separate tray inserts are really useful too. Although you do have to be careful when you lift them to move them because they bend a little bit and pieces can fall off. But they do serve their purpose well and this is by far the best solution I have found for doing a large jig saw puzzle without taking up a whole table whilst you are doing it.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Not made as good as they used to be.
Disappointed. I have had a 500 piece Portapuzzle for years so expected this to be the same quality. The 500 one I have is sturdy and remains firm , thus perfect for doing puzzles while sat on the sofa with the Portapuzzle on my knee. The 1000 size I have just purchased is floppy so impossible to use on my knee. Also, the bending of the board means the pieces do not sit flat.
