Handy if your desktop gets poor WiFi signal
Whilst I suspect it isn't the best all-round router - especially as it only has one ethernet port, its great for my purpose - using it in "Client Mode". This means it just behaves as an external WiFi card, with the advantage of having its own power supply and antennas. Built-in wifi cards in laptops and dekstops generally have the antenna at the back, and don't always get the best signal, this allows one to have it externally so it can be placed higher. Compared to 3 WiFi PCI cards I have, this provides consistently faster speeds through two floors - about 60Mbps (thats around 7.5MBps download speed). compared to the roughly 15 for the internal cards. It also works as a bridge, albeit with a bit of a speed penalty. Having this on another floor greatly improves speed and reliability for networks. Only cons are, it does tend to crash ab out once a week, but frankly most routers do, and I can live with power cycling it every so often.

A very powerful access point at a very reasonable price, and easy to setup.
Very powerful wireless access point at a very good price. I needed an access point to connect to my wired network to provide enhanced wireless access upstairs. This unit was a breeze to setup and the three MIMO antennas provide a superb Wi-Fi signal.

I have a 50mbs internet from V****n Media. The wifi from router was rubbish, cuts in next room with speed around 4-5mbs, second floor didnt have access. I bought this access point and I connect it with cable to my router. Now my internet works in whole house with speed 35-54mbs, in my garden I have 25mbs and garage which is +20meters from access point internet have 10mbs. I recommend this access point!!
