This is an HP branded ink cartridge, therefore the quality & functioning of it is superb. It's better than the copies and many of the printers won't work with copies. But, of course, it is vastly, vastly overpriced and a set of these for my printer from HP is more than the printer cost new. Scandalous working practices, but then we're not surprised are we.
