This was the 1st smart tv I bought and I love it! If it was my husband wanting a 4K tv I would still have this tv!

Did some serious research for this TV, wanted to upgrade from a 40" Hitachi LED to a larger screen with Smart capabilities, but not with 3D, and this came out the winner. Its very well built, the stand is quite cumbersome and covers quite a wide foot print on the TV stand, but it does look cool. The sound isn't as bad as some people make out, good bass and treble when playing blu-ray films, and terrestrial telly is very good. The tv responds very quickly to the remote so reducing/increasing volume isn't a slow process. The picture is very good, there are a couple of variations to try out, but the tv can do this automatically for you, but its all good. Its very good for sport, the greens and reds really hit you in the face, and the blacks look black, not that dreadful pale colour you can get on cheaper models. The Smart features are very well laid out, but its the catch up channels that are very useful, including Netflix and Now TV, which added some points to the scoreboard. With Wifi and LAN you'll never be too far away from a decent catch up tv schedule. There are 3 HDMI's, 2 USB's, a Scart, and various other connections, including a digital audio connection for a soundbar(do you really need one?).Read full review
