Bought this for my boyfriend for use with ebay in mind. Was very pleased with the picture quality. We had bought more expensive cameras with higher mega pixels however the picture quality was not as good as this kodak. We got it at a very good price. Good size & weight. Really please with our purchase.
I gave this camera to a friend who had lost his own one. After two weeks using the kodak c713 he was delighted with the quality of the pictures even after blowing them up to A4 size, also with the ease of using the camera. He was was also impressed with the zoom and the image stabilizer. Overall his verdict was a very good quality camera for the price.
I decided to buy this digital camera because I was looking for a decent camera to take some holiday snaps and video clips. So I thought that an average camera for an average price would be sufficient. I thought 7.2 megapixels would be enough, as I didn't really need professional quality. I bought this camera for £50 (inc. delivery). I tested the camera at home and it took some decent shots. The controls are very straight forward and the menus are simple. But the real test was when I took it to Singapore, where I took pictures of the Night Safari, Jurong Bird Park, pictures from inside the Singapore Flyer, pictures whilst moving on the tour bus, etc. I reviewed the pictures on the camera display, and they actually looked good. However, the pictures and clips taken in Night Mode looked very bad and the camera didn't play back the sound from the video clips. But when I got home and downloaded the pictures and video clips onto my PC, I was surprised to see all the detail from the video clips taken at night, and the sound played back as it was supposed to. The rest of the pictures also came out good. When you view the pictures to fill the screen on your PC, they will look good and you can see some good detail. However, when you enlarge them to their original size, they will look quite rubbish and really grainy. I'm not sure what the battery life is supposed to be, but I took nearly 200 pictures and nearly 20 minutes of short video clips. All of that took up 4 Energizer High-Tech Ultimate AA batteries, which I think is pretty good. So, to some up my opinion of this camera - if you're looking for a cheap camera that will give you professional quality pictures, this is not it and there is no such thing. However, if you want a camera that will give you decent holiday snaps and you don't want to fork out too much money, then this camera ain't half bad!Read full review
I like this camera because it is easy to use and you can navigate the menus without difficulty. I originally bought it because someone gave me a printer dock that is only compatible with some kodak cameras this being one of them. The camera in fact turned out to be better than the printer and gives much better photos than you might expect from a 7 megapixel in fact it is better than a very well known brand 12 megapixel camera I have previously been using. I can recommend it.
This is a great little camera, it's Kodak so therefor you can rely on quality. I am very impressed with this as I was after a digital camera and this has everything I needed on it and for the price very pleased
