With a metal body this is heavier than most mju's however this gives it a very durable feel as with most Olympus camera's pictures quality is excellent. This is the best mju l used and has now become the camera I keep with me all the time.

Bought this camera because of its compact size and it is soo easy to use, sure the on off button is quite small and can be a bit of a pain but dont let that put you off! this is a great camera good quality pictures good size screen its easy to connect to the computer and the battery lasts for ages (I took it to France on holiday with us Hubby,4 kids and Myself for 3 weeks we took loads of pictures and the kids spent hours looking at themselves too and I only had to charge it on the last day)basically thats all I can think off to say I have no negative thoughts on this camera Buy one and enjoy.
You ask yourself why you buy a digital camera. To connect to the computer with ease? Perhaps take some decent pictures for once? Well, when I bough tthe new Olympus for a whopping £289, I thought it would be pretty good. I then found out it was pretty, average, no better than a..lets say a £100 camera. Yes, it has all the gadgets and things, but simplicity and good quality always wins in my book. The Olympus is also not one of the most easiest of items to connect to the computer, but you can get some decent results on there. BUT the flash button is fiddly, you have to press it a certain amount of times e.t.c. Overall the camera is too complicated..and dare I say bulky.
I just wanted to upgrade my camera. My old one could take about 30 HQ photos and 5 mins of video but my friends had much more capacity. I just looked on eBay and this was a buy it now. It's 10MP and has 1G memory. It's really great. I can take as many pics and videos as I like and it never runs out of memory. I think you can have 400 HQ pics and 40 mins of video. I wish it had a viewfinder though, it is difficult to see what you are filming if the sun is out. It cost about £126... about half what my old camera cost.
Excellent easy to use and easily connected to pc . Easier still to remove the card and stick in staight into the card reader on the pc (mine has a multi card reader). Excellent quality picteres . I started with the Mju300 with my daughter took , then the mju400 which the other daughter took so I bought a mju810 you guessed , The girlfriend took it, so I bought the MJU1000 and going to keep it. Its great.
