This CD is one of those "Re-recorded by the soloist" re-hashes that cause great annoyance to music purists. Karl Denver has naturally lost some of his vocal power over the years and this CD clearly demonstrates this. When compared to my old original 7" Decca single "Mexicali Rose" on the CD is shall we say some what questionable. BUT for those that have never had the pleasure of listening to Karl in his hey day, this is an OK disc. For us older ones, it's a bit of a let down.
I LOVE YHIS CD BECAUSE IT BRINGS BACK FOND MEMORIES OF YEARS LONG GONE, AND I COULD NEVER FIND ALL THESE TITLES ON VINYL.
