Sound quality is only as good as the original, now vintage 78rpm recordings but at least these recordings of an original very fine artist are preserved for ever. The transfer of the original recordings has achieved remarkable results and of course, properly cared for, CD's should last a lifetime Am very pleased with my purchase, the last time I heard these recordings was on the radio BBC light program in the 1940 / 1950's

When I was young I played the piano very badly; however I retained a great love of piano, and light music played in this style is a constant source of pleasure. To find a CD by so accomplished a pianist, one of several who were performing in my youth, is indeed rare. I find nothing to complain about.
