Read this originally in 2000ad. Really liked it and had no idea it was continued in a further 3 volumes. I haven’t read those, but this is as good as I remembered. Superheroes, but more adult themes explored and similar, in some respects, to Hell boy (nazis and the supernatural) and the Watchmen (the world has moved on and there is no place for superheroes). The artwork is superb, looking fantastic in monochrome, and the script is intelligent, inventive and poignant. Recommended.

Grant Morrison was writing dark super hero stories twenty years before they were a thing. This excellent eighties, British based story still holds up today.

Didn't fully get this first time round, so took the hit and bought all four volumes. Glad I did.

Too good for words, so ahead of its time, a masterpiece. 😁🎃☠️
