These work much better than expanders. It took a few minutes to set up, but I used the same ssid and password as my TalkTalk router already had, then disabled the router's wifi. That way I didn't have to reconnect everything as my devices found the network and connected easily. I had bought a set of 3 units, but have found 2 cover the whole (largish) house really well. Strong stable signal everywhere now, where I had dead spots before. All of my devices, PCs, Smart TV, IPhone, Android phones etc connect fine, and all reports speeds in excess of 50mps down with 18mps up. Even using ethernet I could only get 56mps down, 18mps up so the wifi drop across the 2 units is negligible. The units are a little light, cheap and plasticky but work fine so I would recommend them. Great value at the price I paid, under £60 for a set of 3 units.Read full review

Excellent item and has vastly improved the signal in the dead areas of the home so we now have a strong signal everywhere. Very easy to install with immediate results.

Bought for my flat to try improve a Vodafone broadband but incompatible router. This was only reason I gave 4 stars, had the Vodafone router been worked they way it should have maybe I'd have been able to utilise my purchases full potential
