Drastically improved my PS4 internet connection
To anyone who wants to improve their device's internet connection - look no further. I was struggling to get fast download speeds and a stable connection in general on my PS4 console and it was frustrating me and I could never get anything decent. I bought this kit and it fixed my problem. I'm getting around 25-30Mbps speeds with these, whereas I was only getting about 3-4Mbps via WiFi on a good day as my PS4 was upstairs in my bedroom whilst the router was downstairs (also, PS4 has notoriously poor WiFi). Follow the simple instructions that comes with the devices and you're done. Excellent product and very easy to set up - massively improved my PS4 internet. Works but difficult to "Pair" and identify which circuit a socket is on
To "Pair" units there is a requirement that both units must be on the same electrical circuit that you only find when reading the instructions contained in the kit. A house may have several power circuits and it is not easy identify which circuit a socket is on. It took me several attempts to "Pair" the units and finally I had to plug both units into the same socket to "Pair" the units before separating them to their final places.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Does what it says and probably more!
Very easy to set up (so easy I thought I had done it wrong) and in testing worked on different (up and down stairs) circuits. I'm using it to connect a Freeview Play box to the router and the speed for catch up and streaming seems to be just fine. The pass through saves on sockets but you can save by buying the simpler ones if you don't need that. Great piece of gaming kit
Excellent piece(s) of kit. I was having some connection problems with my PS4 on WiFi even though it's only about 5 metres away from the router and on the same floor of the house. Bought these and they literally took 2 minutes at most to set up. Plug them in near each other (I just put them both in the same double socket), press the pair button and wait for them to sync. After that connect the cables to the router and the plug by my Playstation and set to wired connection. Worked straight away, no need to fiddle or add any settings, download speeds have been noticeably higher and far fewer latency issues. Easy setup, excellent data apeeds and very useful passthrough function
The set up is very straightforward. I'm not sure if it's compatible with other powerline devices (I tried an older non-TP Link version on the same ring but it wasn't recognised - it seemed to be ignored) but if the units are all TP Link it all sets up very easily. Great product
I had a previous set of TP-Link Powerline plugs and so wanted to add these to the same network. I was concerned as the product number was different, but my research suggested that the TP-Link plugs are compatible so I decided to try them. Although setting up from scratch is simple, I did have some issues adding to an existing network. However, there I got there in the end! Once set up there is no need to do anything else by way of maintenance. Great alternative for internet extension
Great set-up to extend any internet from router point to almost anywhere in the house (but the link must be on same circuit ring otherwise this MAY not work - need to research) but this worked straight out of the box for me. As for internet speed, TBH it was for light computer use and didn't notice any 'drag' so unable to compare it the likes of using a PS4 / gaming computer or whatever.
