This is a great small lightweight camera. Despite it's small size it comes with lots of features. Camera can be uses as a simple point and shoot in easy mode or can be set to one of many creative modes. Both pictures and video are of excellent quality. Full instruction manual has to be downloaded - 113 pages.

Two pics for comparison. 1. Taken with an old 4mp point and shoot and the 2nd with the 20mp ixus. The ixus picture quality is very poor. Colours are washed out. Edges are soft resolution is worse than on the 4mp camera. Battery takes hours to charge and only lasts hours as well. No complaint about the seller. They were very good. The product though is not.

It's a nice little compact camera. I printed the full User Guide (113 pages!) off the internet and it's taken me a while to find my way around and to understand it. So unless you're happy to stick to just using the auto mode which is dead easy and is probably fine for most shots anyway, you need to put some time in to discover how to use all the other shooting modes and functions. But then that's cameras these. day. I would certainly reccommend it..

It's a handy pocket sized addition to my collection of cameras, and the quality is quite reasonable, ones ability to control aperture and shutter are limited,which one has to accept as the price for it's compact size. The one thing driving me mad is my inability to set up the wi-fi connection,I have to put it down to my four score and more years, but nevertheless I will persevere,as its a handy camera to slip into one's walking kegs pocket.
