I wanted a satnav but only for occasional use so decided to upgrade to a new phone which had satnav included. I didn't want to spend a lot of money in case I couldn't get the hang of it but this was probably the cheapest on the market. I wanted one that was small enough to fit into my pocket and chose this because it was the smallest I could find. Admittedly the screen isn't as large as some smartphones but it's fine for me. I found it difficult to use at first but that was because I kept trying to do things in the same way as I did with my old Nokia. Some things are very easy to do, so easy that they aren't mentioned in the manual, obviously assuming that everyone knows how to do it. For example I tried to set a music track from my memory card as a ringtone but it seemed very complicated. Then I discovered that all I had to do was play the track and then tap and hold the name of the track, at which point a pop up menu appears and you just choose set to ringtone. One of my friends has had a Samsung smartphone for 18 months and she didn't know how to do this. My only dislike is the length of time it takes to charge the battery. I have to charge it every 4th day, which is what I did with my Nokia, but that used to take an hour to charge and this takes 3. Other than that I can't think of anything I dislike and I absolutely love the Swype feature. It's so easy to use and makes texting incredibly quick. It has most of the features that a friend's iphone has but for a fraction of the price.Read full review
I am enjoying using my new phone but as it is different from my previous one, I am taking a while to find my way round. There seems to be a lot for the money and I am pleased that I can send texts and emails quite easily and also produce a good quality photograph with the camera. I am surprised how quickly the battery needs re charging but I suppose this is because of all the extra things it is being asked to do.
These phones are very easy to use i am a pensioner and find the large screen excellent, the ease of use is superb, I have used the camera and video, with very good results. the text is nice and clear and the keyboard is very easy to use, to unlock you just swipe the screen which is better than fiddling with buttons it is also easier to scroll through your music and video's and photographs, the volume is good if you have problems like me listening to a conversation on the phone.
