Saw the Lightning Seeds at Glastonbury festival this summer.Didnt really know much about them before that...apart from "Football coming home" etc (which quite frankly didnt exactly turn me on). Live at Glasto they were fantastic to the extent that I came home and bought the greatest hits Cd. I'm a Big Lightning Seeds fan as a result. Great Cd.Brings back the memory of sitting in the sun and listening to the Seeds at Glasto.
A very good collection with all the best songs by the Lightning Seeds.

Sorry I can't be very helpful with this. I bought it on a recommendation but found the music so dull and dreary that I gave up before the end of the CD. Fortunately I found someone to give it to and he at least was kind enough to appear pleased.
I decided to buy this CD on a whim because I heard a song on an advert that reminded me of my student days in the mid '90's and I realised I hadn't heard the Lightning Seeds for years. Once I had the CD I could not stop playing it. It was a blast from the past and I still knew most of the words to most of the hits! What can I say it doesn't appeal to everyone but if you love the Lightning Seeds the Greatest hits is the CD to have!
A perfect CD to listen if you don't really want to listen to anything. Light, careless feeling, sweet tunes... I am not sure I could tell the difference between Lightning Seeds and some other artists (my apologies to LS fans!), but - who cares? If you are looking for a CD that tells you "Hey, pretty one, wonderful day today, isn't it?" then this is the right for you. Highly recommend for this purpose!
