Incredible headphone gear that changed my life for the better
Solidly built, I comfortably wear mine for hours. Big ear pads and solid back cans do a great job of keeping down ambient noise, ideal for use on stage. As to the sound, i find it has incredible clarity, I read that the bass was not as artificially heavy as some, but i found it was still plenty, and the sound is beautifully well rounded and warm especially vocals. Great sound and comfort from great value headphones
Really excellent performance from the these budget headphones. Light and comfortable for 3 hours constant use without sore ears. Excellent sound quality, I think they sound as good as certain headphones at twice the price.. Very flat uncoloured tone response so these are really good for studio monitoring. I spent lots of money on headphones and earphones, in search for a perfect sound for Audio Recording Monitor as well as for play back listening. Then I found this headphone; a perfect in all spectrum of sounds, I mean all frequencies of sounds. This deliver heavy bass. However, in Super Bass Category, it could not beat a tiny earphone, I found in expensive search. Still its bass is appreciably heavy. Noise cancelling system is superb like the little earphone I found. It's little heavier than other models. Its has to be: light-weigh, durability and super quality can't go along; one has to be compromised. I drive it by an headphone amplifier; sounds perfect. Price is reasonably normal for such quality. You will never regret. Its better than those Monitor Headphones supplied by the professional equipment suppliers. I will buy at least 5 for recording work. Superb headphones
I was looking for headphones that can deliver bass, middle and treble frequency response without distortion, and I was delighted to find that the ATH-M50X do just that. I will use them for movies with deep bass sound effects, which many headphones cannot handle. They are not lightweight, but they are not heavy either for professional headphones, and very comfortable. Best headphones for value for money and usability
In overall - fantastic headphones. I've done a lot of research and my criteria was not easy to please: I was looking headset that I could use for video/sound editing; PC gaming, PS4 gaming and casual music listening. - Sound editing, spot on, easy to pick up sound noise - PC gaming surprisingly really well balanced, while playing FPS I was able to differentiate sounds individually that I was never aware of: ambient (weather effects etc), footsteps and guns both had more clarity and a nice punch to it. -PS4 as above, the sound in general is a little bit lower while connected to the controller, but perfectly acceptable even for FPS. -Music, amazing I listen everything from classical to dub step and I was shocked to hear different instruments that I was not able to pick up before with other headphones. Final bits - these headphones have a nice bass, it is not overwhelming, just about right. Personally, they are comfortable but not the comfiest. Great build quality, 3 different cables included, a nice pouch to store headphones. Excellent fidelity for the price.
Audio is top notch. Bass goes down low seemingly without boosting the level. Crisp highs, maybe a little too much, but ok for my aging ears. A little heavy, so need a break after an hour or one whole CD. I could hear bass down to 24 Hz, so I guess that the larger driver is needed to reproduce the extended lows making them heavier than my Sennheisers. Broadcast voices seem natural which is a good indication that there is very little colouration. Overall, I am very pleased with my £116 purchase.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Really good quality monitoring headphones

great headphones overall
they can be a bit tight on the head but depends on the size. i have a pretty big head and they sit snug and comfortable. awesome sound quality. my oneplus 5t doesn't have enough power to feel the full potential of the m50x's but any decent laptop or PC can put the headphones to better use.
