SM-G920 Tempered Glass Screen Protector
Not generally one to be moved to product reviews etc. unless I am truly impressed and this is one that totally fits that category. From what I've been able to gather, the main enemy of the fitted gorilla glass on the phone is micro silica (sand) particles that can accumulate in pockets and bags and in the course of time abraded the glass surface. As I am in the construction industry sand of every particle size is just about everywhere on my person and for this reason have always used and have always detested with a passion the plastic film thingies that defy human patience in removing the air bubbles at the same time as getting the blessed thing straight. Never feel easy under the finger and stays clear for less time than it took to get it on!! These tempered glass protectors are absolutely everything those other things are not. Easily fitted (and in good alignment), bubble free, extremely tough (not a scratch too be seen in a few weeks use) but best of all looks and feels the same as the screen on your phone. Looks fabulous on my 'phone but touch sensitivity is MASSIVELY reduced making it frustrating to use.
Although this fits beautifully on my 'phone exactly as the instructions promise with no bubbles or anything and give great protection it seems to be just too thick or too protective or something: By which I mean the sensitivity of my 'phone is massively reduced. I have to actually tap the screen quite hard to get any response. (By comparison it makes it feel less like a mobile 'phone screen and more like the 'touchscreen' on a ticket machine in a train station.) After a week of trying really hard to get used to it I decided to go back to the screen protectors I've used in the past which, although less pretty (they're completely flat and my 'phone screen is curved at the edges so they don't go completely to the edge of the screen) nevertheless work much better for me than this one. Amazing! Saved me £200!!
Bought this a few days after I got my phone. I got a different one to go over my screen but it was too small (got ripped off)... so I searched for a full screen coverage one and stumbled across this. Took the old one off and fitted this absolute life saving beauty! I dropped my brand new s7 today at work. I didn't think owt of it till I picked it off the gravel floor and BAM!! The worst of nightmares was looking at me.... I had a cracked screen! For half hour I was looking at my beautiful phone, losing love for it by the second. not successful, too easy to trap dust under the glass.
I was not able to apply this screen protector properly. It is too easy to trap dust under the glass. I have had success with these in the past, but not this one. The glass is quite thick compared to previous one I used, I don't know if that made a difference. Nice and clear, poor fit
The screen protector seems easy to fit, and is nice and clear, but it is rigid and flat, so does not adhere across the full width of the screen. A strip 2mm wide down the entire left side and 4mm wide down the entire right side of the screen is not adhering to the phone's screen. Touch works OK on these areas, but in time this will no doubt fill up with dust. Poor Product
On opening the package I discovered that one of the screen protector's had already cracked in two places , Then after I had installed the remaining screen protector I noticed it looked very Grubby, Maybe from patches or areas where there wasn't any glue? The need for an extra one says nothing about value. But litterally you need 2 to even stand a chance of fitting it .the screen cracked under the smallest pressure. 2cnd one has dents an cracks all over it in well under 14 days use .I've owned my phone for years an dropped it several times with not a scratch ..the protector simply shatters..Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Plastic laminate. Poor adhesion. Major sensitivity loss from touchscreen.
This protector looks o.k at first glance. But when you follow the instructions and apply to your cleaned screen you will notice something different. It just sits on the surface of your phone, unlike the genuine tempered glass ones that go dark as you apply them carefully from one end and adhere well. Had for about 2 weeks now and dust is creeping in due to poor adhesion. Touchscreen noticeably difficult to use since applying protector, as now have to push hard to type on right side.
