Works well
Lovely solar powered water feature that works surprisingly well. The only thing I will say is that it needs to go into something relatively bigger that itself otherwise the water will spray out of the birdbath/water feature and it will run dry. don't bother with this
It is a small fountain about 6" in diameter so fits in a bird bath. and it doesn't come with instructions. It only operates when the sun is shining as there is no battery storage so it works in fits and starts. Bit like our weather. It does work however when in full sun but quickly loses power as the sun goes in. If I had seen it operating before buying it then I wouldn't have bothered.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Fun fountain at reasonable cost.
It makes us laugh all the time. It's fantastic in full sun and rubbish in cloud, but that's the fun of it. It's so variable and interesting. It works well in a big pot or tray but it does empty it if there's a breeze. It also changes considerably dependent on shading so if it's rotated slightly the shading changes on the solar panels and this affects the fountain size. It comes with different heads which allows changes for greater or less sun power. Can't fault this product for the price.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Does what it claims and is relaxing to here it working.
The floating fountain does exactly as described and the instruction sheet that comes with it is also accurate. It is very sensitive to there being any shadow onto the solar panels, which will reduce the height of the water fountain. That presents and interesting problem; we set ours up in a wide ceramic pot and the sun shone brightly so the water spout was high. The wind caught the water and deflected it out of the pot so the level of the water in the pot then dropped. This placed the floating fountain below the edge of the pot and into the shadow.... you can guess the rest.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Solar powered fountain.
Great little fountain. I received it by post and within 5 minutes it was out of the packet, into the bird bath. It could not be easier to setup. Of course it does need sunshine, lots to give it energy to make quite a powerful flow of water, but even when the sky is a little cloudy you will get sporadic squirting of water. The pictures show the effect of using 3 different nozzles of the several supplied. Highly recommended.

Great little product, just needs a little TLC
Wasn't expecting this to work as well as it does. The receptical you place it in just needs constantly topping up so as not to run out of water. I have found that it has quite a powerful water jet on it, but in direct sunlight with a strong water jet it can use up water quite quickly. Really needs a continuous flow of water to work well, but I am pleased. Brought one for my Mum too as she seemed impressed too.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Works OK
The fountain works OK if the sun is shining, but if there is a hint of a wind the water blows out, so most of the time it struggles to pump water because it has emptied itself, which reduces the battery life. Good idea, could be better
I knew from reading other reviews that it only works in full sun, so was prepared for that. In half-sun, it struggles, producing intermittent little bursts of water, which iniitially I found quite irritating. I would rather it either worked properly or did not work at all, so a real improvement to this product would be the addition of a battery that could store energy. An absolute shower!
