I thought it might be unsupported, but a google search helped me get it activated. It has a good basic video trimming feature. Well worth getting, shame they dont make them anymore. Only disadvantage is a short battery life

After trying a friends Hudl I really liked it and decided even though they have stopped production of this tablet I would get one of my own. I have not been disappointed................ Why Tesco stopped making these is beyond me. It's a cracking device, boots up quickly, has all the features and operation of a good quality Android phone so if you can use a phone you can certainly use one of these. Battery life is good for such a small device, it has a solid feel to it and screen quality is very good indeed. It's rapid in it's operation and handles all my apps well although to be fair I don't have loads like some people. Like all tablets it has some inbuilt apps that you can't remove which is a pain because they do use some operating speed/memory space. I looked at all of the branded small tablets before I decided to bite the bullet and buy a used one off the internet. I picked up a bargain at just below the retail price for an "as new" Hudl 2 and after using it for a month or so now don't regret my decision at all. A word of warning.......... mine had not been used for some time and I did have problems with it not running some programs until it had updated to the latest version of those programs but after the last updates and a reset/restore it has so far behaved impeccably. A brilliant tablet !! Read full review

By some distance my favourite device: secure, fast, convenient, portable, good picture quality and stereo sound, mini hdmi socket so I can watch stuff on TV. The look and feel is as cheap as the asking price, but the specs and performance are pretty much as good as better looking tablets twice the price. A great buy...

I researched this thoroughly and at the time of purchase it was one of the few that came with 2 GB RAM as opposed to 1 or even 512 MB that is common to the majority of the rest - including top of the range ones. It was also one of the few that came with a quad core processor in this price bracket, which are two of it's strongest selling points, but don't seem to get mentioned as I can see from the title above. The brief synopsis simply says 16 GB (storage), Wi-Fi (blindingly obvious) 8.3" Screen (bigger than most which are 7-8") etc, but not mentioning quad core or 2 GB RAM! The camera is average but adequate for snaps and it's not really needed when most people have a decent one on their phone or (shock horror) carry an actual camera if they know photo taking might be required. If your using it as a pc/laptop replacement, it's good enough for video conferencing. It's fast enough for fairly heavy duty gaming but it does get a bit warm and the battery life will suffer - as will occur in all tablets. I have seen reviews which stated the battery life was average to poor. I can only assume they were trying to play games for 6 hours or more because I was only charging mine a couple of times a week. The screen is sharp and high resolution and overall I can't fault it. The only disappointment is that there are no plans for a Hudl 3. A missed opportunity IMO, but with grocery sales tumbling, they have decided to cut back on the technology side. Read full review

The Hudl has no signs of wear and is working well. A new one would have cost £299. so the price of £59.99 is a great saving. It arrived in good packing which gave it maximum protection, which I was very pleased about. I would not hesitate to buy from musicmagpie again.
