Instructions are complicated but if you take time to decide what it says there's a lot for not much money. Ringing volume not brilliant but ok. Buttons are clear and if anyone has called, even if they didn't leave a message it will flash as if you've got a message and give you the number it called from. I've not had chance to use the call blocking yet, but see that as a huge plus. The hearing aid compatibility is also a help for me. The appearance and use is much like an old Nokia mobile, so once you remember that it is easy to program you use. The facility to allot different ring tones to different callers is also a great idea so you know if it's more likely to be a priority call. The phones are light and sit well in the cradles. I think that although they feel quite cheap you do get a lot for a small price. These aren't flash or look particularly fashionable etc but they are just phones after all, and they do work really well. Read full review

This isn't a bad phone, it does mostly what I want. On the good side I like the facility to send a single phonebook entry from one handset to another, as well as the whole phonebook. On the negative side, the missed calls display is a bit of a pain, I want a simple list of what calls I've missed, but each call is displayed individually, and scrolls round a loop showing number, name (from phonebook or "unknown") and date/time. This means finding out who called takes far longer than necessary. Another facility I cant find in the manual is a key-lock button. When I go outside to do a bit of gardening and slip the phone in my pocket I don't want random keys being activated. If there is a lock facility I can't find it, which leads me to my final gripe - no index in the manual - you have to search through the whole thing looking for what you want, very annoying. I regard the base unit and phone as very good value although I would not necessarily use the base unit except in emergency as it only accepts four handsets unlike my existing gigaset base unit which handles six. The handset fulfils it's purpose but is relatively basic compared with our other gigaset handsets.

As per title. Works fine (although I'm no technical wizard or, equally, have no previous experience of cordless phones!). Triple A rechargeables so easy to replace at end of life. Was fed up with tethered landline phone and handset connecting lead getting in knots.

Easy to install, set and operate. It features loads of options you would usually have to pay your provider for such as Call Screening, Black Listing and Answering Service. You are also able to transfer outside calls from one handset to another. Further features are Timers, Handfree Speakers and various Hold options. Got all those features these phones are an absolute bargain and from my personal experience I am happy to highly recommend them.
