I bought this book as I’m making two rag dolls for my great nieces. I already had this book but needed the fabric printed doll pattern so the girls have the same doll. I’m enjoying it and making the clothes too. I would say to avoid disappointment make sure the fabric pattern is included in the book as most don’t. That’s ok if you don’t mind making one with your own material. It’s easy to make if you sew and even a keen beginner could do it. Take your time and use the tips like a removable marker pen to get the hem allowances right as they are narrow. All in all though I think it’s an excellent book.
