Excellent budget printer, ideal for homework etc.
it's an easy to set up, and to use budget printer, produces good quality images for the money and i would recommend it !! I use it for tonal reference and for templates / masks for my airbrushing and so far it's been perfect for my needs. Not printed on glossy photo paper yet, but images on plain paper are o.k. Good printer, scanner could be better
Initial set up is easy but configuring it to work as a wireless network printer/scanner is a bit hit or miss. The network is indicated as connected but during scanning 50% of the time I get a message saying not connected. However, if I send something to print it prints without problem. I have checked my home network for connectivity , dropouts etc and found no issues. It's frustrating but, I can live with it as the printer is good, it was inexpensive ad takes up less space than its predecessor.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Overall a good machine. Basic printer with new technology. Easy once set up and great to print off mobile phone. Good price. Found it difficult to be recognized by the network on instillation from instructions but googled it then got step by step instructions from there. We found, and still do find, this printer really frustrating it is difficult to connect to BT Fibre Optic WiFi. We initially tried everything suggested to connect even bought a USB cable. When it does connect we can't fault it, easy to scan and print with good image reproduction. So far so good
So far so good. I'm really pleased with this printer and the print quality is very good. It's smaller than my old one (also a Canon) and it fits nicely on my desk without invading much space. My reason for the four stars is that I haven't had it long so I can't give a completely honest review on its performance but at the moment I have no concerns. no 'vivid photo' setting, so much trial and error to get decent colour photos.
Older models of this type of printer, in this price range, had the very useful 'vivid photo' setting. Newer models, such as this one, don't have this feature so a great deal of trial and error is required - and therefore wasting expensive toner. I found the cartridges difficult to fit. They clicked in immediately, so I thought they were correctly installed. That wasn't the case, so a great deal of time spent trying to load them through the small aperture. Great little all-in-one machine
After following the set-up instructions received with the printer I was unable to set it up. However I used "add a printer" on my laptop and it took seconds, so happy now. It's the first wireless printer I've owned and I find it great to use, especially from my phone as well. Basic but functional.
It's a fairly basic little printer. Like everywhere , the price of it is more than I would of had to have paid for it pre covid, but that's down to supply and demand issues and everyone having to go and get equipment to homeschool making everything suddenly shoot up in price. I does sound like a tractor , it's not discrete. And heaven forbid the noisy little so and so runs out of paper , my god its like a tantruming five year old! It prints OK. Connects to WiFi and other devices easily. Very thirsty on ink. I've found it easy to replace the cartridges ( replacing them within 3 weeks of owning it - that's pretty costly!) the scanner works fine. The paper size gauge arm feels like it's going to snap every time I have to change the paper size on it. Needs must. I'm sure there's worse out there. I'm just grateful I got a printer at all below £100! It arrived safely and undamaged in reasonable time considering we're in a pandemic.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

good buy...for everyday printing its very good...wont be printing photo quality so cant review that feature. Easy to set up even without using the included disc....not many laptops etc have disc slots now so I did it all via internet and is easy.
