What can I say it is a bog standard ink cartridge for an HP printer. I feel these things are so very expensive and never seem to last very long so hoping that this one last a bit longer. For £30+ this product should have lasted longer !
OK but would be nicer if it was cheaper and lasted a bit longer, I only printed 8 x A4 size colour photographs before my HP Envy 4507 printer started saying "Low Ink" and that was with a brand new colour and black cartridge ! Quality Black & Colour Inks from HP
HP 301 ink cartridges are now getting rather expensive to buy but they do provide excellent quality printing. It is always well worth while hunting for a new & genuine HP ink but at the cheapest price you can get them for. Good quality but expensive
I've tried various refilled cartridges over the years and have never had much luck. Printer error messages, patchy print and very short life. Don't settle for anything less.
Over the years, I've tried many substitutes for genuine HP cartridges. On the face of it, it seems far more environmentally friendly to use refilled ones and it appears to be a lot cheaper. However, I had so many (admittedly) intermittent issues with: poor quality ink; ink running out suddenly without the initial fading and warning from my pc; and ink drying in the cartridge if I didn't use it for a few weeks; that I began to question the sense of this economy. About six years ago, I moved back to genuine HP cartridges. I have had no problems whatever since. If you wish to do a lot of printing, or some complex posters with subtle colour use, the results must be reliable and consistent. This is what I now get. The double pack represents a good saving on costs, and I can send off the empties for refilling for less fussy users, so I am happy all round.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good with Reservations
I find it better to use genuine HP cartridges than refills or similar in my HP printer as HP seems to get very upset if you try to use anything else unlike some other brands! The cartridges are expensive and I feel don't last as well as they should. Tri colour cartridges are always a bit of a liability as if you run through one colour they are useless. I do a lot of colour printing so I have to try to balance things. Black is not a problem. Having said all that, the colour is good and clear and pretty true to the original and assuming I can get a reasonably priced cartridge or cartridges I shall go on using it till my printer dies the death and then get one that has separate ink colour cartridges.
