Only had this a short while so not really got into it yet, but early use of it seems pretty good, editing looks a little complex but you get the chance to experiment adjusting patches only found on much more expensive pedals, unsure if it would stand up to the rigours of live stage use but as I don't do that, it's OK for me, The inbuilt sounds are as usual with these things, range from useful to others that require tweaking to wacky, I like that's it a very compact unit that runs on batteries so plug in a guitar a pair of headphones and your playing, some of the effects are noisy so will require adjustment especially if used through a decent amp, Zoom were one of the pioneers of making affordable multi effects pedals and even if you just want delays, reverbs, or modulations it's a decent little unit,Read full review

I bought this as a practise FX to save lugging around my Boss GT10 and was surprised at it's capabilities. At first many of the built in patches were a little disappointing but after a little tweaking, I made sounds that out-performed the GT10! Not only that but several of the sounds were great when used with my Yamaha SLG silent acoustic. Also the ability to record direct into my DAW is very useful; there are 2 considerations though. Firstly some of the distorted sounds have a lot of background noise and secondly in some cases the unit's processing limits can easily be reached, so some FX combinations are not possible but I found that for my usage this was not a big problem. This unit is so good that I am seriously considering selling the Boss GT10 (I kid you not). Most guitarists will view this as a beginner's piece of kit but it is much, much more than that and I can't recommend it highly enough.Read full review
