My Mother's 1951 Wedding Dress,
made from Silky material with a V of material over the hands,
and a SWEEETHEART neckline,
and 20 covered buttons ( these are metal buttons and have some metallic marks on them ) down the front
and two tiebacks.

BUST : 77-82cm / 30-32 INCHES dress size = 6
WAIST: 66.5cm / 26 INCHES dress size = 8
HIPS : 102-112cm / 40-44 INCHES dress size =14 or more
ARM LENGTH :

It also has a ~15" train and press-studs down one side.
My Mum was 7-8 STONE and 5 FOOT 7 INCHES " to 5' 9" tall when she got married in the September of 1951.
I have hand washed it but not ironed it as I am not very good with irons.
You will not find this dress on the Highstreet.
£30 for this original dress - I can show you the pictures of the wedding of my mother to my father, wearing this dress.
