The English National Opera London Coliseum orchestra was conducted by Kevin John Edusei, and the singing was by Jonathan McCullough as Count Almaviva, Bozidar Smiljanic as Figaro, the count's servant, Elizabeth Watts as Countess Almaviva, Louise Alder as Susanna, her servant, Hanna Hipp as Cheribino, the Count's page, Andrew Shore as Dr. Bartolo, Susan Bickley as Macellina, Dr. Bartolo's old housemaid, Colin Judson as Don Basilio, a music teacher, and Don Curzio, a lawyer, Clive Bayley as Antonio, the gardener and Susanna's uncle and Rowan Pierce as Barbarina, Antonio's daughter, which was sung in English.
The singing performances were some of the best that ENO has had this season.
This production only had its gala performance on
March 2020 at the London Coliseum.
