White colour has cool undertones, not pure brilliant white. The screws don't come painted. Good quality spray paint is £12/can. I needed 2 cans to cover the whole bench. Bench has movement when you sit down as seat is lightweight and pliable. (And I only weigh 50kg.) Still I think it will do the job, it just moves and squeaks a bit when you first sit. Overall good value for money, but not perfect.
